MARK’S STORY
A Passion for Real Teamwork
Mark got into this work after watching leaders—himself included—try to fix collaboration and alignment problems with software instead of through people.
As the founder of a software company for over 15 years, he saw firsthand how teams struggled to collaborate and how well-intentioned leaders unintentionally created barriers between departments—even with the best tools available. The result? Leaders stuck in meetings, putting out fires, frustrated that their team just isn’t clicking or thriving the way it should.
The biggest challenges aren’t about tools; they are about how teams think, communicate, and work together. Silo mentalities, territorial thinking, and misaligned priorities aren’t just frustrating—they are holding organizations back.
Yet, there’s nothing better than seeing people solve real problems together instead of working around each other.
That’s why solving this problem became Mark’s focus. Over the years, through research, experience, and hands-on work, Mark created the Stronger Together process to transform fragmented teams into one high-performing, adaptable organization. When teams align, collaborate, and execute together, organizations move faster, perform better, and become more adaptable. And everyone has more fun.

In addition to developing the Stronger Together model and process, Mark has continued to grow and learn with some of the leading teamwork and leadership experts in the world. He has been certified in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and Six Types of Working Genius models, many different communication and collaboration models, and studied under Patrick Lencioni for a couple of years. He consistently weaves the best of these experiences and models into his programs.

When he hasn’t been working with organizations, Mark has been coaching high school girls’ basketball, including his daughter. Whether in the boardroom or on the court, he believes that great teams are built through intentional habits and shared commitment. No matter what we do, we’re almost always part of a team, and it’s always critical that our team is Stronger Together.
